LISA BARHAMLisa Barham began her career at an NYC-based fashion forecasting company. Who knew a gazillion years later it would become the inspiration for a book series? Anyway, all was well in the fashion biz until one day at lunch a friend of Lisa's asked "How would you like to work on a movie?" Before she could say "Hello, Hollywood!" the film wrapped and with it, her newfound career. Undaunted, Lisa went on to work on a number of Woody Allen films, but when the director took a between-films hiatus, she moved to Tribeca Productions, where she was involved with several film and television projects. Cut to: two years later, during which time she'd sold a screenplay, cowrote a second screenplay for Touchstone Pictures, married, and had a baby. Life was beautiful. Somewhere between changing diapers, arranging playdates, and bandaging skinned knees, she began developing A GIRL LIKE MOI. And the rest, as they say, was history.
